چکیده
The present study presents biological aspects of golden grey mullet, Liza aurata (risso, 1810) from Bardawil lagoon, Egypt. A total 1329 specimen's individuals were collected different landing sites Lagoon in the period May 2017 to February 2018. Length-weight relationship, condition factor, age composition, and fish growth studied. length weight ranged 12.2 33.6 (cm) 13.8 340 (g) respectively. Length-Weight relationship (LWR) was determined according power regression model. length-weight relation found as W= 0.0071 L3.053 (r2 = 0.9756). highest value factor studied species recorded declined lowest level November. Growth mortality evaluated based on estimation scale readings 605 individuals. Von Bartalanffy function be Lt 38.51 [1-e -0.2421(t+1.4222)] Wt 491.96 3.053. (Z) natural (M) rates 0.8865 0.3543 years-1 estimated exploitation rate E 0.60 indicating that current fishing pressure L. suffers overfishing area study.

Toxicity of dispersant application: Biomarkers responses in gills of juvenile golden grey mullet (Liza aurata).
Dispersant use in nearshore areas is likely to increase the exposure of aquatic organisms to petroleum. To measure the toxicity of this controversial response technique, golden grey mullets (Liza aurata) were exposed to mechanically dispersed oil, chemically dispersed oil, dispersant alone in seawater, water-soluble fraction of oil and to seawater as a control treatment. Several biomarkers were...
